Example lead costs by job type
Different jobs carry different value. Here’s one way you might structure credits per lead. You can adjust these as we gather actual performance data.
Everyday jobs (lower credit cost)
- Small handyman jobs: 5–7 credits
- Basic cleaning / move-out cleans: 5–8 credits
- Mobile detailing (single vehicle): 5–8 credits
These are jobs with solid value but lower ticket sizes. The goal is to keep lead costs low enough that repeat business still feels great.
Higher-value jobs (higher credit cost)
- Exterior / full-house painting: 10–18 credits
- Larger remodel / multi-room projects: 12–20 credits
- Recurring contracts (cleaning, services): 10–20 credits
Bigger, higher-ticket projects can use more credits, but your return per job is also much higher.
How fairness and protection fit into pricing
Pricing only works if it feels sustainable. The credit system is designed to protect you from obvious junk and help you feel better about the leads you do pay for.
When a lead feels “off”
- Customer clearly entered fake or nonsense info.
- Phone/email is invalid after reasonable attempts.
- Job type is completely different than what was described.
In cases like these, you’ll be able to flag the lead for review so we can look at credit adjustments or returns.
When a lead is real but you don’t win
- You still got a real opportunity to earn the job.
- Over time, we may offer partial credit returns or loyalty bonuses.
- The exact rules can evolve with feedback from early pros.
The goal is to reward long-term pros and keep things feeling fair, not to lock you into a one-sided system.
