What we’ll ask you in the request form

The more clearly you describe your project, the easier it is for pros to give you realistic prices and timelines. We keep it simple, but focused on what matters.

Basic details

  • What type of work you need (painting, cleaning, tutoring, etc.).
  • Where the job is located (city/neighborhood).
  • Rough timing (as soon as possible, this week, later, etc.).

Helpful extra info

  • Any special requests or constraints.
  • Your budget range, if you want to share it.
  • Best way and time for pros to reach you.

What HonestPro does behind the scenes

While you’re going about your day, we’re doing the matching work for you. You don’t see this part directly, but it’s what makes the experience feel calmer and more focused.

We filter and match pros

  • We look at service area, job type, and timing.
  • We avoid sending your request to random, off-fit pros.
  • We cap how many pros see each job to keep it fair.

We balance fairness and quality

  • Pros use credits to get leads, which keeps quality higher.
  • We work to filter out obvious junk or fake requests.
  • As we grow, we’ll keep improving based on real feedback.

How and when pros will contact you

We want you to feel prepared, not surprised. Here’s what typical contact looks like once your request is live.

  1. Pros review your request. They’ll read what you wrote and decide if it’s a good fit for their skills, schedule, and service area.
  2. They reach out the way you chose. Depending on how we set it up, that might be a message, text, or call during reasonable hours.
  3. You compare quotes and communication style. Pay attention to who listens, who explains clearly, and who respects your time and budget.
  4. You hire, delay, or decide not to move forward. There’s no penalty for deciding the timing isn’t right or the match doesn’t feel good.

During early testing, we’ll be watching this closely so we can keep improving how many pros you hear from, and how often.
