HonestPro terms & basic rules

1. Using HonestPro

HonestPro connects customers looking for services with pros and local businesses who may be able to fulfill those requests. We are a matching and communication platform, not the contractor performing the work.

2. Relationship between customers and pros

Any agreement for services, pricing, timing, or work quality is made directly between the customer and the pro. HonestPro does not supervise the work, guarantee outcomes, or act as an employer of pros using the platform.

3. Pro responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and availability.
• Comply with local laws, licenses, and insurance requirements where applicable.
• Communicate honestly and respectfully with customers.
• Request only legitimate credit returns for clearly invalid leads.

4. Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate project details, timing, and contact information.
• Respond to pros in a timely and respectful way.
• Only submit serious requests when you genuinely need work done.

5. Credits and billing (for pros)

Pros may purchase credits that are used to receive leads. Lead pricing, how credits are charged, and how refunds are handled will be explained clearly in your account.

Any credit return or refund program is provided at HonestPro’s discretion and may be updated over time to keep things fair and sustainable.

6. No guarantees

HonestPro can’t guarantee that any lead will become a paying job, or that any pro will meet a customer’s expectations. We aim to keep the marketplace high-quality, but some outcomes are outside our control.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service as HonestPro grows. When we make significant changes, we’ll provide notice through the app or by email where appropriate.
